Porphyrio martinicus
Swamp hen

Admired by many eyes
Standing in a safe spot
Admiring heaven
without looking up

The shades of blue
standing still with you
the joy of looking at you
will last for a while

Catching your reflection
in between the rays of sun
and your desire to pose
brought me world of peace

I’m ready to take off
whenever you are
you’ve been patient enough
the moments of blue
fade away and I know
I will have to see you again
